Web MIDI API Draft Published

The Audio Working Group has published an updated Working Draft of Web MIDI API. This specification provides users with a bridge between a Web browser and their MIDI-capable devices, such as musical instruments, lighting controls, or any other MIDI device. With this API, users can control or exchange information with MIDI devices directly from the browser. The Web MIDI API is a low-level feature, intended for use with other web platform features, like the Web Audio API, with the goal of familiarity for users of operating-system-level MIDI APIs, such as Apple’s CoreMIDI and Microsoft’s Windows MIDI API.
