Title tags play very important role in SEO. What we should avoid in title tag is listed below

  1. "Home" or "Home Page" in title tag
  2.   Domain name in title tag
  3.   Too long
  4.   Too short
  5.   No keywords
  6.   Just the business name
  7.   First few words aren't important or eye-catching
  8.   Doesn't include geographic location - and location is important
  9.   Too many keywords (spammy looking)
